Pencil illustrations for "IN SEARCH OF AFRICA'S GREAT TUSKERS"


Alan completed 32 pencil illustrations for the book "In Search of Africa's Great Tuskers". Published by Penguin Books, it was launched in mid-November 2010. Written by Johan Marais, this book takes the reader on travels to some of the most remote and beautiful African landscapes in the quest to find Africa's great tuskers. The text is complemented by Alan's detailed illustrations and Johan's superb photographs.

The 2010 Nedbank Golf Challenge

This lion bronze sculpture entitled "On the Prowl" was sculpted in 2010 and 19 casts were presented by the artist to the participating golfers playing in the 2010 Nedbank Golf Challenge at Sun City.
